Interessante website Wege aus der Krise.
Die Losungen passen zur Kunstwiese thema; neue wege suchen. Nicht immer den Weg den wir schon kennen.

Pressebericht in Englisch.
Egon Wegh hatt für uns das Pressebericht in englisch übersetzt!
Press release
As part of the Federal State Exhibition (Landesausstellung) from 28 June to 25 July an international art project will take place in Eschenau im Hausruckkreis. From 28 June to 3 July, 19 artists from Germany, Switzerland, Finland, the Netherlands and Austria will create works of art based on the theme “The Renaissance – an Age of Transition".
An exhibition by artists from various European countries on this theme is bound to provide some interesting results.
Point of departure may be either the past, the age of the Renaissance, or the present time.
The legacy of the Renaissance and the Reformation has had quite a different impact on a range of European countries. How do artists deal with that? How is that age reflected in the works of artists today? What are the results of a comparison between that age and the present time?
We ourselves are living in an age of transition. In many fields great changes are taking place. We will have to treat nature, our natural resources, and the financial system in a different way.
We are in the middle of a revolution much the same as the Renaissance: the sea level is rising, computer and internet provide new opportunities, different means of travel and production, disappearing borders, globalisation, genetic engineering, energy consumption and energy production.
The resulting art projects must be ecological and innovative.
We would like the artists to develop new ideas for and about the world of the future.
We would like to address the problem-solving capacities of the artists.
The project will take place in Eschenau im Hausruckkreis, Eschenau 24.
We will work together with the neighbourhood.
The symposium will take place from 28 June to 3 July.
The artists can be observed while they are at work during this week. The project’s results will be exhibited until 25 July 2010.
Vernissage: 3 July 2010 at 3 pm.
Opening hours: Wednesday through Sunday from 1 pm to 5 pm.
Free entry.
